The artist is in control of a universe that is defined by perpetual vitality expressed in the infinity of forms and facets of vegetation – rhythms, explosions, germination, flowers – which insinuate themselves even in the dreamlike or conceptual canvases. The common denominator of all these compositions created with laborious meticulousness and undisguised passion of plastic expression is that capacity to observe and interpret, which – as Rouault used to say, helps you “be able to store the forms and harmonies that you see every day, to get used to know them better, to end up playing with them”. With a virtuoso design which makes us think of that horror vacui of artists of other times, distributing her plastic elements in masterfully balanced rhythms, frequenting a range of colours balanced and calm, these works recommend an authentic artist whose original vision harmoniously coexists with the respect for the technical tradition.Radu Ciobanu, exhibition catalogue - 1996
