Letitia Oprisan

Letitia Oprisan is part of that category of artists that do not work based on a model. Even the landscapes or still lifes are not dependant on the motif, as an identifiable starting point in the immediate objective reality. Te motif and the model, as much as one could speak of them as starting points, initial springs or temperamental character facets are both results of the inner toil that the rigour of an imperturbable spontaneity dissimulates with ease an d grace. Without an emotional twitch or caricatural excesses. A fantasy that divulges its abundance of adorning epithets, taking into account an acuity of observation that is involuntarily a study of characters but arriving, while throwing virtues and vices left and right, in a game in which scolding takes forgiveness roughly like an offering in the paradisiacal vanity fair.
